Storm Singers Wow the Audiance at Mt. Vernon HS

Dear Choristers and Parents,

Storm Singers did a fantastic job yesterday at the San Juan Music Educators Association Regional Jazz festival in Mt Vernon yesterday. Jeanelle, Jake and Josie, all rocked their solos and Aiden threw down a mean Beat Box groove. The Jazz Band made a Fantastic performance as well.

Storm Holiday Gig Schedule is posted

All of the Gigs that Storm singers have for the Holiday Season is now posted on the Google calendar with full information and Maps on how to get there.

Don't forget that we have an emergency rehearsal on Saturday from 12-2 so that we can make sure that we sound good at these gigs!! Thanks.

My Director from Edmonds Community College (Soundsation) is coming north to work with a High School and is goin gto be able to stop by and work with us friday morning. Please be early friday morning. The call is 6:30. This will be a great experiance. and perfect timeing for our festival on Tuesday.

Concert Choir Job Well done

Hey Concert choir,

We really made some headway today on O Magnum. Make sure and spend some time with the parts that are posted for O Magnum during your day off. Lets keep up with the momentum.

There are a few recordings that you should listen to. Start listening to who has the melody and when they come out with their part. we need to start getting the hang of how this works.

Yearly Program and Add Sales for SQHS choirs

Hello everyone!
We are working on a program that will be available for sale at the December Choir Concert.
The program will be a bound 8 1/2 x 11 with a glossy color cover. We will have group pictures of each choir, a tribute to our seniors in Storm & Concert Choir with individual head shots plus much more! Our goal is to get some ads included in the program as well.

Attached are two ad options--business ads and personal ads! If you own a business, know someone that owns a business or have a good relationship with some local businesses--please consider placing or soliciting an ad for the program. You also have the option of placing a personal ad to support your choir student!

Please call me if you cannot open the attachments or need more information! The funds raised by the program ads and program sales will go back into the choir program for scholarships, equipment and to support the Choir tour in the Spring!!

Drivers for Honor Festival if you are not involved just disregard this post

Hello Drivers.

Thank you for volunteering to make sure our honor students get up to lynden Christian HS and back. I hope that you are aware that you have been chosen for this duty. Chip has been out for this week and coordinating this has been a challenge to say the least.

Here is the plan

AM drivers leave SQHS at 8am (lets load at 7:45 in the lower lot)

Aeron Reis: Tucker + 5

Reilly: 4

Marshall: 4


PM Drivers need to pick up students at LCHS at 4pm

The rest of the students will be staying at LCHS under the supervision of Becky Schlotterback.

Students that are leaving and coming back make sure to be back and ready by 6.
