Here is our Gig list for the Crazy December Season

Storm Singers Caroling schedule and other choir department things

The times listed are the START times of all the gigs. Please plan to be to each gig at least 15min Early.

December 1st 6pm Storm singers at World Aids Day (Whatcom Museum Old City Hall)

December 2nd 3:30 Concert Choir Clinic with “The Coats” (BHS Auditorium)

December 2nd 7:30 Storm Singers Concert with “The Coats” and Sehome and Bellingham. ((BHS Auditorium) warm up at 645 in BHS choir room)

December 4th 12:30 Holiday Port Festival (We got in.. YEAH) (The Ferry Terminal in Fairhaven. Come early parking is tough)

December 7th (Early Release) 1:00-1:45 Storm singers at Adult Day health center (St Joes South campus corner of Chestnut and Samish way) – 2:30 Storm singers at Spring Creek Retirement Center (223 East Bakerview Road Bellingham, WA 98226)

December 8th 7:30 Choraliers Rehearse with Allegra for the Saturday performance.

December 9th 6:30 Evergreen aids foundation Christmas party (TBA)

December 9th 7:30 Storm Singers at Fountain Community Church (Corner of Broadway and Meridian North of fountain rentals)

December 10th 3pm-5pm Choraliers in concert with Ann Macdonald and Allegra.

December 10th 6:30 – 8:30 (Optional) Caroling in my neighborhood on horse drawn cart.( Meet at Nelsons Market. corner of Humbolt and Potter st 1block North of Lakeway Dr. )

December 11th Assumption church gym 6:30pm Dinner is served 7:30performance (2116 cornwall ave. one block north of Bellingham High School)

December 12th 7:00 Squalicum Winter Concert (Forum

December 14th BORCH concert SQHS gym Rehearse 5pm

December 17th Music Department Sings at “the Market on Lakeway” for a generous fundraiser. (they are giving us potentially $2500 storm from 11- 11:40 Orchestra plays, 11:40 – 12 band and Orchestra eat pizza, 12- 1 Band Plays, 2 :00 Choraliers, 2:30 Concert choir, 3: – 3:30 Choir eats pizza, 3:30 – 4 Storm Sings in 8tets in different parts of the store

December 17th 6pm Storm Party after the Market gig @ Blatz’s

Practicing on 11/16

Hi Concert choir,

Thanks for visiting the blog. your practicing will pay off big time.

Check out the youtube links to the right of this message you should find a few links that take you to recordings of our songs. have fun. I found a good Soprano person doing lux. Find a youtube video of somebody on your part and go to town.

Please write these words "I got this" on a piece of paper and show it to me at the beginning of class tomorrow don't tell any one. I just want to see who uses the blog to practice.

WWU Nov 8th

WWU Concert November 8th

Dear Parents and students,

Coming home tomorrow is permission slip for the concert that we will be performing with WWU concert choir, this is a huge honor and will be a wonderful performance. Please consider attending this great event. If I could make it mandatory for parents I would. Students need to provide their own transportation to and from the WWU Performing Arts Center located at 516 High Street.

Below is our Itinerary for the event.

Tuesday November 8th,

6:30 Students must arrive at the WWU performing arts center lobby

From there we will proceed to Lower Level 16 (the choir room) to put our bags and extra stuff there.

6:45 Warm Up LL 16

7:00 On stage in the concert hall for our run of our pieces.

7:20 concert choir joins to get our standing order finalized for the Bach. We run through the Bach

7:35 House opens and we return to LL 16 to get robes on.

8:00 Concert starts

9:15 Concert is over

9:30 students are ready for pickup

Parking is always an Issue up on campus. Make sure you arrange your travel to accommodate time for parking and walking to the Performing Arts Center. If needed I am happy to arrange car pooling.
