First Two Weeks

Things are looking good!!

There is great Sound coming from the Choir room at SQHS!!

Concert choir has nearly learned all of the notes for 1.5 of the 3 pieces we are doing this Fall. (the hard stuff is yet to come!!). Don't forget about the retreat on September 25th. THAT IS NEXT SATURDAY! for more details click on the event in the calander above. We will be getting the majority of our stuff learned on this retreat and Judy Filibeck is coming from seattle to work with us! It is going to be a great day.

Choraliers is already singing in 3 and 4 parts and sounding good which is incredible. And... (drum roll please) Choraliers have been invited to sing on the HUGE concert that Bellingham Sings puts on every year under the direction of Ann McDonald. It will be December 10th and we will be singing with all of the "Bellingham Sings" as well as the "Vancouver Brass". Fun Fun Fun!

Mixed choir is starting to make wonderful noise as well espcially considering lots of them have never sung before. we are nearly all matching pitch and singing with great tone.

Then there is Storm... What a great bunch of singers we have this year. We are prepairing for the Manhattan Transfer concert on Thursday October 7th. (check the calander) I hope to have Java Jive and the MJ medly down by then. Check the links to the right to hear your part being sung for "Hide and Seek".

Entertainment books are selling like hotcakes. Keep those things rolling out the door. Remember the check point is Sept 27. try to have 5 sold by then. Some folks have already sold 10!
