What a show! I had a wonderful time last Tuesday night. I was so incredibly proud of how the kids performed and even more proud at how they welcomed the Shucksan MS choir club into our home. These Students never cease to amaze me. I would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all of the people who came together to make the "World of Music" concert a complete success. A special Thanks to DeeDee Bell, Jennifer McCleve and our great Choir Booster club for putting together a great Dessert Auction! We made over $1200! Nice work people! Big Thanks to David Willoughby for Taking such incredible pictures! here is the link to his photos:

I wish we could say that the extremely high temperature in the forum was due to the intense performing that we were doing but I found out the next day that the air circulation fans that cool off the building turn off at 4:30pm and were not turned on again. So now that we know that, I hope that the temperature for the winter concert will be much more comfortable.
We are under way for our preparation for the winter concert! Our theme is Mozart! we are starting to explore the genius and influence of this great musician. We hope to bring his music to life in ways that you would never imagine high schoolers could do. We have a short time to prepare (1 month) so you will be seeing your student coming home with their choir music in addition to their regular homework. This blog will have lots of information for them to interact with and if you ever need up to date info on what we are doing always check here. :)
