Also, I will be the director of the Vocal Jazz ensemble at the Blain Jazz Festival this year it goes from July 7-July 14 and I can't say enough good things about this festival. If you come as a Vocalist you will be placed in the VJ ensemble where you will get to see a much different side of me where I teach one of the generas that I totally LOVE. we will work on Improvisation, super tight Jazz Harmony and collaborate with some of the finest student and professional instrumentalists in the nation!! That is only 1/2 of the time. the rest of the time will be spent working on a solo set that you will put together with the world famous Gretta Matassa. She is the west coast athority on Vocal Jazz and one of the most incredible teachers I have ever seen. This is worth your time!
