Dear SQHS choir parents,
12 hours to go!!
The students are so excited and so am I!! we are going to
have a great time!
There is one last detail, the behavior contract. This is an
important agreement between you and me and your child that makes it clear what
is expected of them and their behavior with the important point being that if
the contract is breeched then the student will be sent home at the expense of
the parents. We are hoping that this won’t happen but it never hurts to cover
your bases J.
On one hand I apologize for getting this out so late, on the
other hand I hope this will inspire an opportunity to sit down and go through
this and have a candid conversation with your student on the eve of our
departure. Timing is everything J
Two more details:
1.
We have decided to give ourselves a bit more
cushion in the travel time to SeaTac. The bus will arrive at 3:00am and we will
depart at 3:15.
2.
I would suggest arranging a way to not leave
your car at SQHS over the weekend. There are several arrangements being made to
drop off kids and pick up cars in the morning etc.
Double check
1.
A carry on (The maximum dimensions for
an à la cart bag is 10" H x 17" W x 24" L (25 x 43 x 61 cm)
including wheels and handles) and a Back pack both of which should have
no liquids over 3oz. Any bottles of liquids should be in a clear plastic
bag and easily accessible by TSA.
Make sure students have ID on them.
WA state ID or School issued ID card. Passport or birth certificate work as
well.
Swim suit and Sunblock and Hat! And
a water bottle would be good too.
OK I think that’s it.
11.5 hours to go!
Time for bed!
